Global Navigation Satellite Systems Engineering, Policy, and Design
Diego Alonso recently joined The Signal Processing for Wireless Positioning group to be involved in a EU/European Space Agency research Galileo project. This group belongs to the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering (ELT) at the Tampere University of Technology (TUT).
Alonso received a M.Sc. degree in telecommunication engineering at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) after having developed his master thesis at TUT.

Babatunde Olaleye Salu holds an M.Phil. degree in electronic/electrical engineering and is a principal scientist at the African Regional Center for Space Science & Technology Education – English (ARCSSTEE) specializing in embedded systems.
His current research interest is in the use of sensors and embedded systems for novel atmospheric data gathering solutions.

Ogah Okibe is a senior scientist in post-graduate division of African Regional Center for Space Science and Technology Education in English (ARCSSTE-E), Nigeria.
He obtained his master’s degree in cartography and geoinformation science from Regional Center for Training in Aerospace Surveys (RECTAS), OAU campus, Ile-ife, Nigeria. He also received a post-graduate diploma degree in GNSS and a bachelor of science degree in mathematics.

Asuquo Okon Alexander received his bachelor of engineering degree in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria and an M.Sc. degree in telecommunications electronics from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom.
He is currently working in the avionics systems laboratory of the National Space Research and Development Agency, Nigeria, as a senior research engineer.
His research interests include wireless communications, computer networks, and signal processing.

Oladosu Olakunle Rufus holds a Ph.D. in physics (atmospheric option) from the Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
He has published many articles in journals both locally and internationally. His area of research includes boundary layer processes, currently with an interest in the space applications.

Ganiyu Ishola Agbaje is a geoinformation expert, with a Ph.D. in geography/geomatics from Lancaster University, an MPhil degree in GIS & remote sensing from the University of Cambridge, and MSc and BSc (Hons) degrees in surveying from the University of Lagos.
He is a registered surveyor and a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors.

Mohammed Bilal is a native of Pakistan and has background of Electronics Engineering. He also has a Master’s degree in Control Engineering from National University of Science and Technology Pakistan.
Currently, he is at Beihang University in Beijing, China, undertaking Masters Program in Space Technology Applications (MASTA) in Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS).
His research interests are on differential GNSS, ground-based augmentation systems, and GNSS receivers.

Echoda Ngbede Joshua Ada graduated from Federal University of Technology Minna, Niger State Nigeria with a BEng in electrical and electronic engineering and computer engineering in 2006. He then proceeded to Teesside University Middlesbrough United Kingdom-2011, where he graduated with a Master’s degree with distinction in electronics and communications engineering.

Nandakumaran Nadarajah received his M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from McMaster University, Canada.
Currently, he is working as a research fellow at the GNSS Research Centre, Curtin University.
Nadarajah’s research interests are in multi-GNSS attitude determination and relative navigation, signal processing, and target tracking.

Souichirou Kozuka (Ph.D., Tokyo University) is a professor of law at Gakushuin University, Tokyo.
He specializes in commercial law, corporate law, and maritime, air and space law.
Kozuka is co-chair of the Space Law Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) for 2016 and 2017, correspondent of UNIDROIT (the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law) and an associate member of the International Academy of Comparative Law (IACL).
