Juan Blanch

Juan Blanch is a senior research engineer in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Stanford University where he received M.S. degrees in electrical engineering and aeronautics and astronautics and a Ph.D. in aeronautics and astronautics.

He earned degrees in mathematics and applied physics from the Ecole Polytechnique, in Paris, France.

Blanch received the ION Early Achievement and Bradford W. Parkinson awards.

Grégory Moura

Grégory Moura graduated from the top French Institute of Aeronautics and Space (ISAE-SUPAERO).

Since 2005, he has been working as a project manager and expert in the field of GNSS propagation simulation. He is currently managing the GNSS activities of the French company OKTAL Synthetic Environment.

Moura is in charge of the management of the simulator SE-NAV that computes the propagation and the reception of GNSS signals in constrained environments.

Gaylord Green

Gaylord Green is one of the pioneers of the creation, development and operation of GPS, whose work on satellites and orbits particularly affected the success of the technology. As an Air Force major, he was head of the NAVSTAR GPS Joint Program Office from 1985 to 1988. He also was instrumental in developing the most precise ICBM inertial guidance system.

After he retired from the United States Air Force, Green directed the Gravity Probe-B program for Stanford University from 1989 until 2007.

His work focuses on the legal and policy issues associated with the collection, use, storage and distribution of geospatial information.

Pomfret is a member of the U.S. Secretary of Interior’s National Geospatial Advisory Committee.

In 2008-09 he was a visiting scholar at the Coordinated Science Laboratory of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Laurenti’s current research interests focus on wireless network security at lower layers (physical, data link and network), GNSS security, information theoretic security, and quantum key distribution.

Christian Wullems is currently working in the radio navigation system and techniques section of the directorate of technical and quality management at the European Space Agency (ESA) ESTEC in Noordwijk, Netherlands.

His current role at ESA includes supporting the exploitation of GNSS for next-generation train control systems as well as support for topics related to GNSS authentication.

Wullems has a Ph.D. in information security and a postgraduate diploma in rail accident investigation.
