Marco Porretta received both the telecommunications Engineering M.Sc. and the Ph.D. in information engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy.

He has more than 10 years of professional experience in telecommunications and navigation systems. This experience includes the development of high-frequency methods for electromagnetic propagation analysis, decision support tools (DST) for air traffic management (ATM), and integrity algorithms for Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS).

Ali Jafarnia Jahromi

Ali Jafarnia Jahromi received his Ph.D. in geomatics engineering from the University of Calgary. He holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in telecommunications engineering.

He was a post-doctoral fellow in the University of Calgary PLAN group from October 2013 to February 2016 before starting to work in industry.

Jahromi’s research interests include GNSS signal processing and receiver design.

Manuel Toledo has worked in the GNSS field since 1990. Since 2001 he has been head of the GNSS Applications and Technologies Division at GMV, where he is responsible for the development of GNSS receivers and applications positioning technologies with GNSS and other sensors.

Daniel Egea-Roca

Daniel Egea-Roca received the M.Sc. (with honors) in electrical engineering and an M.Sc. degree in micro- and nano-electronics engineering, both from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).

From June to October of 2015 he was a visiting research collaborator at Princeton University.

Currently, he is a Ph.D. student at the UAB SPCOMNAV group.

His research is focused on GNSS integrity improvements based on quickest detection.

Ramos Pollán has developed his career in both industry and academy, as director of the computing center at CETA-CIEMAT in Spain, software engineer at the European Laboratory for Particle Physics, and a Java architect at Sun Microsystems, Switzerland.

Fabio A. Gonzalez is an associate professor in the Department of Computing Systems and Industrial Engineering at the National University of Colombia, where he leads the Machine Learning, Perception and Discovery Lab (MindLab).

He earned a computing systems Engineer degree and an M.Sc. in mathematics degree from the National University of Colombia, and an M.Sc and Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Memphis, USA.
