Mayflower Communications Introduces NavGuard® 750 Integrated M-Code Anti-Jam System

Mayflower Communications Company, Inc. has introduced the NavGuard® 750 Integrated M-Code Anti-Jam System (IMAS), a fully integrated Assured Position, Navigation and Timing (APNT) solution designed for severely size, weight, and power (SWaP)-constrained military platforms.

The Bedford, Mass.-based company, a U.S. Space Command–designated military GPS receiver developer, describes the system as the most compact fully integrated APNT product on the market.

Developed with sponsorship from the U.S. Space Force, the Canadian Department of National Defence, and U.S. Navy NIWC Pacific, the NavGuard® 750 has been tested in contested Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) environments. Target platforms include small ships, unmanned surface vessels, unmanned aerial systems, ground combat vehicles, robots, and fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft.

The system integrates Mayflower’s TRL 9–rated MAGNA-I GPS Anti-Jam solution within a 4.5-inch diameter Controlled Reception Pattern Antenna (CRPA) array — compatible with NATO-standard Fixed Radiation Pattern Antenna mounts — alongside a military GPS receiver with simultaneous dual-frequency (L1/L2) support, a MEMS Inertial Measurement Unit, and a Chip-Scale Atomic Clock. A 7-channel anti-jam design provides greater than 40 dB jamming suppression across multiple simultaneous narrowband and wideband threats, including rotor blade modulation environments. The system also adds Jammer Direction of Arrival and signal classification capability for NAVWAR situational awareness, and delivers a protected RF output distributable to multiple GPS receivers simultaneously.

“In today’s NAVWAR environments, GPS resilience is critical to mission success,” said Joseph Thomas, Senior Director of Government Programs at Mayflower Communications. “The IMAS provides the smallest, fully integrated, and combat-proven solution for delivering APNT to the warfighter.”
