Patrizio Vanni works for ENAV as GNSS engineer in the International Strategies Office.
He graduated in 2003 as an Aerospace Engineer and he holds a master of science in “Advanced Communications and Navigation Satellite System”.
Since 2004 he has been involved in the EGNOS program, at first in system operations and then in applications for aviation, with focus on PBN concepts and on the performance assessment methodologies.

Vicente José Giner Herrera works for Ineco (Spain) as a manager in the GNSS unit within the CNS-ATM area.
He received a M.Sc. and Ph.D. in physics from the University of Madrid and a M.Sc. in computer modelling and control from the U. of Manchester (UK).

Daniele Bettinelli has a degree in Physics. Since 2008 he has been working in Telespazio (a Finmeccanica/ Thales company) on GNSS/EGNOS positioning and navigation in the frame of several European R&D projects.
In particular, he has been contributing to the specification, design and development of added value services based on EGNOS and EDAS, and on the analysis of GNSS performance for road, freight transport and logistics, and for civil aviation applications.

Antonella Di Fazio works in Telespazio (Finmeccanica-Thales company based in Italy), in the Navigation and Telecommunication Programs, in charge of satellite navigation applications & services.
She holds a degree in Physics.

Ugo Celestino works as Policy Officer in the EU Satellite Navigation Programs (EGNOS & Galileo) for the European Commission. He is in charge of downstream applications development and international relationships with EU neighboring countries.
Celestino holds a degree in economics and an MBA from INSEAD.

Salvatore Gaglione is Assistant Professor at the Science and Technology Department of the “Parthenope” University of Naples and scientific director of the PArthenope Navigation Group (PANG) Laboratory.
In 2010 he was Visiting Academic in the Department of Geomatics Engineering at the University of Calgary.
Since 2002 his research studies have been focused on GNSS and sensor integration algorithms for urban, marine and air navigation.

Samuele Fantinato is a radio navigation systems engineer at Qascom, Italy.
He received a master’s degree in telecommunication engineering from the University of Padova. He leads several projects with focus on the design of advanced radio
navigation testbeds for interference, spoofing mitigation, and
assessment of authentication schemes for GNSS.
Matteo Canale is a cryptography and cyber-security engineer at Qascom.
He obtained an M.Sc. degree in communications engineering and a Ph.D. in information engineering from the University of Padova.
Canale’s main interests include network security, cryptography, and GNSS security. He is currently working on the definition, specification, and implementation of authentication services for the Commercial Service Demonstrator in the framework of the AALECS project.

Fedir Shyshkov is a 6th course student at the Institute of Aeronavigation of the National Aviation University, Kiev, Ukraine.
He completed his BSC degree at the Institute of Aeronavigation. His focus areas include satellite radionavigation and computer modeling.

Valeriy Konin is a professor in the Air Navigation Systems Department of the National Aviation University, Kiev, Ukraine and an Honored Mechanical Engineer of Ukraine.
He obtained a Doctor of Engineering degree from Rybinsk Institute of Aviatechnology, Rybinsk, Russian Federation in 1969.
Konin’s areas of interest include satellite radionavigation and computer modeling. He has published more than 140 articles.

Reinhard Blasi is the market development officer at GSA in charge of the EGNOS and Galileo market entry in the professional high-precision market.
He gained his management experience as a strategy consultant during national and international assignments at innovation projects in various industries.
Blasi holds a degree in business administration and master’s degree in international business studies conducted in the Universities of Paderborn (Germany), Lille (France), and Bologna (Italy).

Javier Simon is a service design engineer within the European GNSS Agency (GSA), currently contributing to the definition and design of the Galileo Commercial Service.
He holds a MSc. degree in telecommunications engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain.
Before joining GSA Simon participated in several projects for the study and design of future GNSS algorithms and systems.

Gonzalo Seco-Granados received a Ph.D. degree in telecommunications engineering from Universidad Politècnica de Catalunya and an MBA from IESE, the graduate business school of the University of Navarra.
From 2002 to 2005, he was with the European Space Agency, Netherlands. Since 2006, he has been an associate professor at the Universidad Autònoma de Barcelona, where he coordinates the SPCOMNAV (Signal Processing for Communications and Navigation) group.
