NavtechGPS is offering a training seminar next month titled Course 336: GNSS Operations for Engineers at the European Space Agency (ESA/ESTEC) in Noordwijk, The Netherlands.
This 3-day course offers a comprehensive introduction to GPS/GNSS and DGPS technology, system concepts, design, operation, implementation and applications. Detailed information on the GPS signal, its processing by the receiver, and the techniques by which GPS obtains position, velocity and time will be covered, together with a full day on differential GPS.
Course 336 (1.8 CEUs): GNSS Operations for Engineers (Also called GPS/GNSS Fundamentals, Enhancements and Introduction to Differential GPS/GNSS), will be taught by instructor Dr. Chris Hegarty. Attendance for the course, November 26-28, 2018, is open to NATO member country citizens only) Note: Non-E.U. participants and non-U.S. citizens must be cleared for attendance prior to being officially registered.
“There are many bright scientists and engineers, but very few are bright and gifted in teaching. Even fewer could explain each part of a very complex equation in simple layman’s term. Dr. Hegarty got my full attention.” — Sigong Ho, NovAtel; said in a testimonial of Course 346, February 2014 (Course 336 is a subset of Courses 346 and 356).
