NavtechGPS Winter GNSS Training: GNSS Fundamentals and Introductory DGPS (Course 336)

This three-day NavtechGPS Winter GNSS Training course will take place at ESA/ESTEC in Noordwijk, The Netherlands, November 17-19, 2014.

Course 336: GPS Fundamentals, Enhancements & Introduction to Differential GPS will be taught by Dr. Chris Hegarty. The course is open to citizens of NATO countries.

This course presents an overview of how the GPS/GNSS system works, its many applications, and its policy and operational considerations, including clocks and timing, orbits and constellations, and satellites and control segment functions as well as an introduction to differential GPS.

Prerequisites are: Familiarity with engineering terms helpful but not essential.
