Hexagon Completes Acquisition of Inertial Sense

Hexagon has completed its acquisition of Inertial Sense, a Utah-based provider of GNSS+INS navigation technology, adding more than 30,000 deployed inertial systems to its assured positioning, navigation, and timing portfolio.

Inertial Sense will be integrated into Hexagon’s Aerospace & Defence Division, where its compact, tactical-grade solutions are intended to extend the company’s resilient navigation capabilities in GPS-challenged environments. The acquisition targets growth in autonomy, aerospace, and defence markets.
