Map Africa 2010 conference and exhibition will take place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) in the center of Cape Town, South Africa on November 23-25, 2010.
The theme is "Geospatial Readiness for Building Africa." The conference will focus on the most pressing areas that contribute to the nation’s growth, such as infrastructure and utilities, cadastral mapping, land information management system (LIS), land policies, mining and exploration and emergency management.

The High Commission of India to South Africa is co-organising India Geospatial Technology Summit as part of Map Africa.
The conference is sponsored by GIS Development, headquartered in Noida, India. The company is dedicated to developing a Global Geospatial Communications Network. It publishes Geospatial World magazine and organizes the Geospatial World Forum conference (formery Map World Forum).
The conference’s key partners include the South Africa Department of Rural Development and Land Reforms, Government of South Africa; Kenya Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development and UN Economic Commission for Africa, Ethiopia.
