The annual Space Weather Workshop will take place on April 13 – 17 2015 at the Millennium Hotel in Boulder, Colorado, U.S.A.

Registration will be open soon.

This meeting will bring together customers, forecasters, vendors, government agencies and researchers of space weather information.

The conference addresses the remarkably diverse impacts of space weather on today’s technology. The program highlights space weather impacts in several areas, including communications, navigation, spacecraft operations, aviation, and electric power. The presentations and discussions at the Space Weather Workshop also focus on identifying the highest priority needs for operational services that can guide future research and identifying new high-value capabilities that can be transitioned into operations.

Monday, April 13 will feature a full-day GOES-NEXT Workshop. An early Monday evening Welcome Networking Session will also be held at the NCAR Mesa Lab (NCAR on the Hill). The conference agenda is available on the Space Weather Workshop website.

Begun in 1996 as a small meeting for the space weather community, it has grown into the largest forum for space weather effects and predictions in the United States. The event is sponsored by NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center.
