Trevor Layh received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from South Dakota State University.
After graduation, he worked for the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, Virginia, as a civilian test engineer and UAS pilot.
Layh is currently an M.S. degree candidate in aerospace engineering at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
His current research is focused on navigation systems using cell phone signals to aid estimation solutions when GNSS is degraded.
