The Space Reflecto international workshop on passive reflectometry using radiocom space signals will be held in Calais, France on October 27 and 28, 2011. The conference venue is the auditorium of a former lace factory transformed into a museum – Cité Internationale de la Dentelle et de la Mode de Calais.

Topics of particular interest to Inside GNSS readers include:
Space signals used for reflectometry: New wide spectrum GNSS signals (ALTBOC and others); Use of GNSS metasignals; MBOC and BOC GNSS signals; GNSS signals transmitted by geostationary satellites;

Sensing hardware and techniques near the ground or water, on board planes or satellites:State of the art and prospects for GNSS receivers, Radiometry/GNSS-R synergies;

Propagation characteristics of satellite navigation signals: GNSS channel models in urban and indoor environments; Simulation and test development; Multipath modelling; Multipath mitigation.

The early registration deadline is October 10, 2011.

The workshop is sponsored by CNES, the French space agency, and the Calais campus of ULCO, Université du Littoral Côte d’Opale.
