Calgary, Alberta, Canada’s NovAtel Inc. offers a new real-time kinematic (RTK) positioning solution, known as AdVance RTK, designed to enhance the precision and performance of the company’s OEMV family of GNSS receiver boards.
According to the company, AdVance RTK provides more reliable ambiguity solutions (on baselines as long as 40 kilometers) and faster narrow-lane convergence. For baselines shorter than 10 kilometers and in open sky conditions, performance accuracy is consistent with NovAtel’s previous engine, maintaining a 1 centimeter plus 1 part per million specification.
AdVance RTK for NovAtel’s GNSS OEMV-2 and OEMV-3 receivers will be available as part of the version 3.100 firmware release. The company’s OEMV boards offer 14-channel L1 and L2 GPS/GLONASS tracking and include support for the L2C signal (the OEMV-3 also includes support for L5 frequency).
