Longer Show Hours, Fewer Days for ION GNSS 2013 Exhibitors

ION GNSS 2012

Companies who exhibit at the Institute of Navigation GNSS conference next September will have longer exhibit hall hours to work the floor – but fewer days to do so – at the 2013 event in Nashville, Tennessee.

Based on feedback from exhibitors, ION will eliminate the Friday hours for the industry show and increase the Wednesday and Thursday hours next year.

"We increased the number of exclusive hours you will have to market your products and services while networking with those who are attending the technical sessions. We believe this will increase the productivity of your exhibit time at the ION GNSS show and add to the vitality of the show floor," ION director Lisa Beaty said.

The conference and related tutorials and meetings run from September 16-20. On Wednesday, September 18, the hall will be open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., with no down time when the hall is being prepared for that evening’s exhibitor reception.

On Thursday, September 19, the hall will open at 10 and close at 6. On both days, lunch will take place in the hall as usual.

Take down hours run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on  Thursday evening and from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday, the last day of the conference.

The ION GNSS conference, held in different regions of the USA each September, is the oldest and largest technology conference and exhibition for the satellite navigation industry and community. It is sponsored by the Institute of Navigation, a Washington DC-area professional and educational society founded in 1945 for those interested in positioning, navigation and timing (PNT).
