James Curran

James T. Curran received a B.E. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering in 2006 and a Ph.D. in Telecommunications in 2010 from the Department of Electrical Engineering, University College Cork, Ireland.

He worked as a senior research engineer with the PLAN Group in the University of Calgary, Canada, from 2011 to 2013 and as a grant-holder at the Joint Research Center (JRC) of the European Commission (EC), Italy from 2013.

Curran is currently a radio-navigation engineer at the European Space Agency (ESA) in the Netherlands.

His main research interests are signal processing, information theory, cryptography, and software defined radio for GNSS.
