The 2016 International Symposium on GNSS, an annual event for researchers and the satellite navigation industry in the Asia Pacific region, will take place in Tainan, Taiwan on December 5,6 and 7 in the International Conference Hall of the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU).
The 2016 International Symposium on GNSS, an annual event for researchers and the satellite navigation industry in the Asia Pacific region, will take place in Tainan, Taiwan on December 5,6 and 7 in the International Conference Hall of the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU).
The event will cover a broad range of GNSS topics, and peer-reviewed papers will be published in special issues in the Journal of Aeronautics, Astronautics and Aviation (EI-indexed, published by Aeronautical and Astronautical Society of the ROC).
The keynote speakers are Benjamin Fong Chao, president-elect of the Asia Oceania Geosciences Society and Dorota A. Grejner-Brzezinska, president of the U.S. Institute of Navigation.
This year, event is organized and hosted by NCKU and the National Land Surveying and Mapping Center. Previously, it has been held in Hong Kong, Istanbul, Jeju, Johor Bahru, Kyoto,Seoul, Sydney, Taipei, Tokyo, Wuhan, and Xian (in alphabetical order).
For the first time, the symposium will take place in the oldest city in Taiwan, Tainan.
