ION JNC Advance Conference Program Now Available

The annual Joint Navigation Conference (JNC) is a military positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) event hosted by the Institute of Navigation (ION) on behalf of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The ION 2017 JNC advance conference program is now available online.

The annual Joint Navigation Conference (JNC) is a military positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) event hosted by the Institute of Navigation (ION) on behalf of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The ION 2017 JNC advance conference program is now available online.

The conference will be held June 5-8 at the Dayton Convention Center in Dayton, Ohio and the Air Force Institute of Technology at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base nearby. It will emphasize joint development, test and support of affordable PNT systems, logistics and integration. Sessions will focus on battlefield applications of GPS, field navigation devices, PNT requirements for troops in the field, and navigation warfare.

Attendance is limited to United States government agencies and military contractors. The theme of this year’s conference will be: “Military Navigation Technology: The Foundation for Military Ops”.

Unclassified sessions (June 5-7) will be For Official Use Only (FOUO)
and the classified sessions (June 8) will require a Secret Clearance.
The exhibit hall (June 6-7) will be restricted to U.S. citizens only.
