INTERGEO 2019 Held Sept. 17-19 in Stuttgart

The 25th year of the INTERGEO conference will take place Sept. 17-19 at Messe Stuttgart in Stuttgart, Germany. The event is organized by DVW – German Society for Geodosy, Geoinformation and Land Management e.V., and sponsored by Hexagon, Trimble and Autodesk.

Attendees are cordially invited to INTERGEO and the German Cartography Congress to be a part of the Geo community.

Digitization has become an integral part of work and in everyday life. Geo-information provides the basis for a wide variety of applications, including for smart cities as well as for building information modeling. Mobility without cards? Cards without open data? Social development without geodata? These are all topics and questions to be addressed at INTERGEO 2019.

Geo can create significant added value, providing the foundation of the digital society and thus to the currency of the future. Today, we have consistently Open Data, allowing work with COPERNICUS data, and current developments are exciting, event organizers stated.

Be inspired by interesting lectures, creative discussion forums and the developments and offerings of the conference exhibitors. Attendees can learn not only about products, services and solutions, but can also learn about innovative ideas for the future.

The world’s largest congress and fair in the fields of geodesy, geoinformation and land management is a 25-year success story where fundamental innovations and advanced technologies are introduced.

The focus of INTERGEO 2019 is on crucial future issues including politics, society and business alike: How do we ensure the long term future worth living in town and country? And how can we ensure there is living room and sufficient requirements for today’s transport infrastructure? To find answers to these questions, geo makes a significant contribution.

Another special focus of this year’s event is the digitization in the areas of mobility and construction, which is evident in topics like Smart City, surveying, laser scanning, digital engineering and construction (BIM), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and virtual and augmented reality.
