Francesco Rispoli

Francesco Rispoli has more than 32 years experience on satellite applications. In 2011 he joined Ansaldo STS and was responsible for the train control system’s satellite technology, and was director general of Radiolabs Consortium.

Francesco Rispoli has more than 32 years experience on satellite applications. In 2011 he joined Ansaldo STS and was responsible for the train control system’s satellite technology, and was director general of Radiolabs Consortium.

He is coordinating the satellite activity of the European Next Generation Train Control System project and rail applications of Galileo Services. By 2005 he was with Telespazio, as Chief New Initiatives, and was previously with Alenia Spazio as VP multimedia business unit.

Rispoli holds a doctoral degree in Electronical Engineering and a post-graduate Specialization Master in Applied Electromagnetism. In 2012 he was awarded the Finmeccanica Innovation Prize and the Italian Prize of Prize with a GNSS application for trains.
