ION GNSS 2010 Abstracts Due By March 12

ION GNSS 2010 in Portland, Oregon USA

Paper abstracts are due on Friday, March 12 for the 2010 Institute of Navigation GNSS conference.

It will take place at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon from Tuesday evening, September 21 through Friday morning, September 24.

This will be the 23nd international technical meeting of the Satellite Division of ION. It is the world’s largest and oldest GNSS conference, founded in 1987 as the ION GPS conference.

Precise Time and Time Interval Meeting: PTTI 2010

Reston Hyatt Ballroom

The 42nd Precise Time and Time Interval Systems and Applications meeting and industry exhibition will take place at the Hyatt Regency Reston Town Center in Reston, Virginia on November 15-18.

It will focus on time dissemination, GNSS timing performance, user applications, precision time and frequency transfer techniques and future timing equipment.

EFTF 2010: European Frequency and Time Forum

The 24th European Frequency and Time Forum – EFTF 2010 – will take place at the European Space Agency (ESA/ESTEC) in Noordwijk, Netherlands from April 13 to 16.

The special topic this year is "Time and Frequency Research, Technology and Applications in  Space."

The annual international conference covers recent advances in time and frequency scientific research, industrial development and end-user applications. The associated industry exhibition features new products in those areas.

The 4S Symposium and exhibition will take place at the Pestana Conference Center in Funchai on the Portugeuse island of Madeira from May 31 to June 4 2010.It is sponsored by ESA, the European Space Agency and the French space agency, CNES.

RIN/Digital Systems KTN GPS Jamming and Interference Conference

"GPS Jamming and Interference – A Clear and Present Danger" is the theme of this one-day conference sponsored by the Royal Institute of Navigation and the Location and Timing Program of Digital Systems KTN, a UK network funded by Britain’s Technology Strategy Board.

PLANS 2010: IEEE/ION Position Location and Navigation Symposium

The Position Location And Navigation Symposium technical conference and industry exhibition is a forum for the latest navigation technology. It is held every other year in even numbered years. The 2010 event will be held at Renaissance Esmerelda Resort and Spa in Indian Wells, near Palm Springs, California.

Conference tutorials covering a number of topics from core navigation fundamentals to in-depth classes about the latest technologies will take place on May 3. Twenty-four half-day technical sessions are scheduled for May 4-6.

Trimble Dimensions China User Conference 2009

Trimble will hold its first user conference in China on December 15-17 at the Jiuhua Resort and Conference Center in Beijing. It will cover civilian technology only.

The theme "Exploration Has No Boundaries," draws comparisons between 15th century navigator Zhenghe, the 2008 space mission Shenqui, and the use of positioning technology to steer exploration.

Trimble head Steve Bergland will deliver one of the conference keynotes.
