The SXBlue III-L is a compact GPS L1/L2 receiver in the world designed for use with OmniSTAR’s HP service to attain decimeter accuracy worldwide. Targeted at GIS mapping/surveying applications, the receiver measures 14 x 8 x 5.6 centimeters (5.57 x 3.15 x 2.22 inches) and weighs 517 grams (1.14 pounds) including battery.

Other standard features include a field-replaceable integrated battery pack with “fuel gauge,”200-meter long-range Bluetooth, and USB and RS-232 ports. Optional features include 10Hz/20Hz update rates, RTCM output and RTK input/output for real-time positioning.

Geneq’s SXBlue GPS L1/L2 dual-frequency GPS real-time kinematic (RTK) receiver has a long-range Class 1 Bluetooth implementation capable of distances of up to 100 meters (300 feet). Weighing 268 grams (about one-half pound) and having dimensions of 11.26 x 8.54 x 3.53 centimeters (4.43 x 3.36 x 1.39 inches), the unit is designed to be mounted on vehicles and use the vehicle power for machine control applications such as agriculture, mining, construction and other high-precision applications.

The 51-channel SXBlue L1/L2 GPS tracks L1 C/A code and L1 P(Y)/L2 P(Y) carrier phase as well as satellite-based augmentation systems (WAAS/EGNOS/MSAS).

In addition to the OmniSTAR service, the SXBlue III-L GPS also supports optional RTK operations by connecting to an RTK network or a single RTK base station for centimeter-level accuracy, according to the company. It comes with a compact hermetically sealed antenna that receives GPS, SBAS, and OmniSTAR signals.
