Under the auspices of the 2016 Dutch Presidency of the Council of the EU, the fourth edition of European Space Solutions will take place at the World Forum Convention Centre from May 30 to June 3, 2016 in The Hague, The Netherlands.

Under the auspices of the 2016 Dutch Presidency of the Council of the EU, the fourth edition of European Space Solutions will take place at the World Forum Convention Centre from May 30 to June 3, 2016 in The Hague, The Netherlands.

The theme of the conference is “Bringing Space to Earth.” The 5-day event will bring together business and the public sector with users and developers of space-based solutions, and will explore how space makes a difference to the lives, and livelihoods, of people across Europe and around the globe.

Participants will learn about new innovations that harness information from the European flagship space programs, Galileo and EGNOS (satellite navigation) and Copernicus (Earth observation), and the EU’s Horizon 2020 research program, for a wide range of applications, gather insights about current developments, and discuss what is possible and needed in the future.

The conference will be accompanied by an exhibition of new space applications and technologies, a range of dedicated focus sessions and relevant side events, networking opportunities and more. This year’s Focus Sessions are: Space Solutions for Business, Smart Mobility, Agriculture and Food, Climate Change and Environment, Health and Safety, Energy, and River Deltas of the World.
