Parkinson’s lecture is part of a special event that includes a film on space junk and commentary on the museum’s new exhibit, Time and Navigation: The Untold Story of Getting Here to There.
The new exhibit will open on April 12.
Parkinson’s speech is part of the museum’s GE Lecture Series. He will discuss the history, applications and future of the U.S. Global Positioning System, and the critical relationship of navigation to time.
