The Growing GALILEO conference and information day will take place in Brussels at the Charlemagne Building conference facilities on Tuesday, January 27 and Wednesday, January 28. All sessions will be held in English.
The first day will feature a conference on GNSS plans, strategies and assistance.
The second day will be taken up by an information session on the Seventh Framework Program (FP7), the European Union’s umbrella initiative for funding research and technological development. FP7 became effective in 2007 and will last through 2013.

Representatives of industry, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), the public sector and other interested organizations are invited to attend. January 16 is the registration deadline.
The event is being organised by the European Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Supervisory Authority, which manages all public interests related to European GNSS programs and whose goal is a fully operational GALILEO system.
