The fourth China Satellite Navigation Conference (CSNC 2013) has issued a call for papers to be presented at the international event scheduled May 15–17, 2013 in Wuhan, China.
The theme of CSNC 2013 is “BeiDou Application — Opportunities and Challenges” and will include an academic exchange as well as a commercial exhibition and technical forum.
Deadline for submitting abstracts is October 31, 2012. Full papers are due by December 20. Authors whose papers have been accepted will be notified by the end of February 2012.

The event is sponsored by the China Satellite Navigation Office (CSNO), the Department of High and New Technology Development and Industrialization of the China Ministry of Science and Technology, and China National Space Administration, State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense bureau as well as numerous other public and private organizations.
Chairman for the event is Sun Jiadong, general designer of the Compass (BeiDou-2) GNSS system. Executive chairmen are Liu Jingnan, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and the former president of Wuhan University; Yang Yuanxi, China National Administration of GNSS and Applications; and Fan Shiwei, China Satellite Navigation Office.
