Satellite Navigation Science and Technology for Africa

This workshop will take place at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste.

The program consists of formal lecutres and hands-on practice in GNSS architecture, signal structure, hardware, new applications and scientific exploration using GNSS. The goal is to educate the workforce who can exploit this revolutionary technology for the benefit of Africa.

In particular, space weather and ionospheric research activities will be described to help initiate space science research programs in African universities.
