NAVI Forum 2007

Now in its fourth year, this event expects to draw 2000 "navigation fans" and 800 PNT professionals to the Hua Ting Hotel & Towers in Shanghai, China. It will feature a plenary session, symposium, panel discussion, and on-site exhibition. The conference will cover issues and news of in-vehicle navigation, portable navigation, telematics and the new Chinese navigation system, Compass.  Keynote speakers include the president of Wuhan University, the general manager of the Nissan telematics division, the CEO of the radionavigation division of Siemens, and the vice chairman of Shanghai’s Science and Technology Commission.

The honorary chairman is Dr. Jianlin Cao, vice minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China.The event is organized by the Ministry’s Department of High & New Technology Development and Industrialization; Department of Map Management, State Bureau of Surveying & Mapping; and Science & Technology Commission, and Shanghai Municipal People’s Government.
