The successful rollout of GPS/EGNOS and Galileo depend on qualification and certification for mission and safety critical applications. However, there is no single standard against which this can be accomplished. To that end, CERGAL has been established as cross-border information exchange and discussion platform for system and application developers, operators, approval authorities and users.
This year, CERGAL will focus on maritime and inland waterways applications and GNSS testing infrastructure.
The conference is organized by the German Institute of Navigation (DGON), ITS Niedersachsen and GNSS Applications and Users in the domain of Safety and Security (GAUSS).
