Aiden Morrison

Aiden Morrison received his PhD degree in 2010 from the University of Calgary, where he worked on ionospheric phase scintillation characterization using multi frequency civil GNSS signals.

Currently, he works as a research scientist at SINTEF Digital.

Morrison’s main research interests are in the areas of GNSS and multi-user collaborative navigation systems.

James Curran

James T. Curran received a B.E. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering in 2006 and a Ph.D. in Telecommunications in 2010 from the Department of Electrical Engineering, University College Cork, Ireland.

He worked as a senior research engineer with the PLAN Group in the University of Calgary, Canada, from 2011 to 2013 and as a grant-holder at the Joint Research Center (JRC) of the European Commission (EC), Italy from 2013.

Sebastien Rougerie

Sebastien Rougerie graduated from ENAC (the French civil aviation school) with an engineer diploma and obtained a master of science degree from the University of Toulouse. He received a Ph.D. degree in array processing from ISAE Toulouse.

From 2012 to 2014, he worked for AUSY as a research engineer on behalf of ONERA and Thales Alenia Space.

Roland Kameni

Roland Kameni graduated as a civil aviation engineer specialized in electronics and now serves as the head of the R&D Department at ASECNA and in support to ASECNA strategic planning.

Within the Agency, he has developed various roles such as being head of maintenance at ASECNA Douala Airport (Cameroun) and during 1996 at ASECNA HQ, involved on various projects related to communications, navigation and surveillance as well as in charge of many studies within the air navigation domain.

Jérémie Giraud works for Thales Alenia Space-France, as a system Engineer in the localization Infrastructure team, developing innovative positioning technologies for liability critical applications.

He is now in charge of the GNSS performance standardization activities within Thales Alenia Space in relation to TAS-F activities in LBS and road applications domain.

Hugues Secretan

Hugues Secretan is an expert in GNSS, working at CNES in the Navigation System Engineering Department since 1995.

He has worked in the ESA EGNOS Project Office from 1998 to 2010, as ESTB (EGNOS System Test Bed) manager, then as SPEED project manager.

Since 2012 he has been in charge of the SAGAIE project in collaboration with ASECNA.

Washington Ochieng

Dr. Washington Ochieng is the head of the CTS and holds the chair in positioning and navigation systems in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London.

e is a fellow of the Royal Academy for Engineering, the Royal Institute of Navigation, and the Institution of Civil Engineers, and a member of the U.S. Institute of Navigation.

Dr. Shaojun Feng is a research fellow at the Center for Transport Studies (CTS) within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London. He leads the navigation research group at CTS.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation (RIN), the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), and a Member of the US Institute of Navigation.

He is the founder manager of ABBIA GNSS Technologies, a French small/medium-sized enterprise working of the space industry, based in Toulouse, France

Myriam Foucras

Myriam Foucras received her master’s degrees in mathematical engineering and fundamental mathematics from the University of Toulouse.

Since 2011, she has been a Ph.D. student at the Signal Processing and Navigation (SIGNAV) research group of the TELECOM laboratory of Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (ENAC).

Funded by ABBIA GNSS Technologies, in Toulouse, France, her work consists in the development of a GPS/Galileo software receiver.

John Braun

John J. Braun received the B.A. degree in physics and mathematics from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Aerospace Engineering Sciences, University of Colorado.

He is a project scientist within the COSMIC program at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research, Boulder.

Braun’s research interests include developing new techniques and using GNSS observations to study the Earth and its environment, particularly the water cycle.
