U.S. Army Releases White Paper Request for CMFF Prototypes

The US Army released a Request for White Papers (RfWP) to develop new CMFF prototypes. CMFF—C5ISR Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS) Mounted Form Factor—is the Army’s effort to easily and rapidly equip ground vehicles and aviation platforms with capabilities like positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) and electronic warfare (EW), through capability cards plugged into a common chassis.

Taoglas Unveils Dual-Band GNSS “Patch-in-a-Patch” Antenna

Taoglas, a provider of antennas and IoT components, has announced the launch of Inception, a new GNSS L1/L5 ultra-low-profile “patch-in-a-patch” antenna. The HP5354.A offers dual-band stacked patch performance in a single 35 x 35 x 4mm form factor. This design integrates the second antenna within the first, eliminating the need for stacking parts and reducing the antenna height by 50%.

PSIONIC’s SurePath Velocity Sensor Protects Against RF Interference, Jamming 

PSIONIC is taking a different approach to RF and jamming mitigation. The company’s new laser-based sensor, SurePath, features a proprietary navigation filter that uses real-time velocity vectors to correct IMU sensor errors—providing information in one platform that typically requires multiple. And, according to the company, the undetectable velocimeter can’t be spoofed or jammed.
