Hemisphere GNSS, Inc. today (May 5, 2016) announced that Xinping Guo has been named Interim President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Guo, who is also a member of the Hemisphere GNSS board of directors, is chairman and general manager of Beijing UniStrong Science & Technology Co., Ltd., which wholly owns the Scottsdale, Arizona–headquartered Hemisphere. He will lead the subsidiary company as it conducts an executive search for a new president and chief executive officer to lead Hemisphere’s future growth and development.
Charles Joseph, the company’s previous president and CEO, left the company effective today.
Werner Gartner, Hemisphere’s board chairman, said, “Chuck was instrumental to the ongoing development of the company since joining Hemisphere in early 2014. . . . We thank Chuck for his contributions and dedication in the past two years and wish him good fortune and success on his next endeavor.”
