It is sponsored by the industry organization, Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI).
The event includes 76 presentations and 60 poster sessions on Wednesday, August 12, and Thursday, August 13, covering government program updates, technology briefings and operational reports.

The conference will open on Monday, August 10 with the 5th Biennial Unmanned Systems Demonstration at Patuxent River Naval Air Station Webster Field Annex.
Registration for the conference will open in May 2009.
