Currently the CEO, Pascal Campagne has served since 2001 as strategic director of France Developpement Conseil SA, a satellite navigation consulting and engineering firm. His responsibilities include research and consulting projects for the European Commission, the European Space Agency, and various French government ministries.
Currently the CEO, Pascal Campagne has served since 2001 as strategic director of France Developpement Conseil SA, a satellite navigation consulting and engineering firm. His responsibilities include research and consulting projects for the European Commission, the European Space Agency, and various French government ministries.
He is the founder and coordinator of the Organization of European GNSS Equipment and Service Industries (OREGIN), which is coordinated by FDC. OREGIN includes 150 members from nineteen European companies who are interested in future markets for Galileo applications. In addition to sharing expertise, the group works on product standardization for the Galileo system.
Campagne has been actively involved in the creation and technical secretariat of the numerous Galileo-related groups, including the Galileo System Security Board and its working group on security aspects related to international cooperation, the French Interministries Working Group on Galileo Public Regulated Service, the Galilei User Fora, and the Galileo Frequency Task Force. He has also led or coordinated a long list of contracted GNSS-related projects.
Campagne previously worked in the French Ministry of Defense, where he was project manager of the super Etendard avionics modernization program and in charge of studies, development and procurement of navigational systems, airborne computers and display systems. He holds engineering and master’s degrees in physics/acoustics from CNAM Paris and Le Mans University.
