Eliza Schmidkunz

Eliza Schmidkunz is cofounder and partner in Gibbons Media and Research LLC, publishers of Inside GNSS. From 2006 through 2016, she was a staff writer and editor at the magazine and the author of "GNSS Hotspots," a regular column.
Previously, she worked as communications director for the University of Oregon School of Law, the state’s public law school.

Previously, she worked as communications director for the University of Oregon School of Law, the state’s public law school.
Before that, she worked in a number of creative and marketing management positions in medicine and the natural sciences. These included the University of Oregon Museum of Natural and Cultural History and its archaeological research arm; a large west coast hospital consortium, its health plan and its women’s health education center; and a museum exhibit and retail design firm.
Eliza attended the University of California at Santa Cruz and Riverside. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication, where she specialized in advertising. She lives in Eugene, Oregon, USA.
