The 3rd International Summer School on Global Navigation Satellite Systems: A Worldwide Utility will take place at the Convention Center in Berchesgaden, Germany from July 20 to July 30 2009.
It is open to graduate students, doctoral candidates, and early-stage professionals who wish to gain a comprehensive overview of the design, development and applications of the world’s satellite navigation systems.
Participation is limited to 50 students and early registration is encouraged.

Lecturers include a number of distinguished scientists including senior faculty from the sponsoring universities: Günter Hein, member of the European Commission’s Galileo Signal Task Force ; Per Enge, Stanford University; and Michel Bousquet, French Aerospace Engineering Institute (ISAE).
