Syntony GNSS has announced the launch of the EchoTM 4RP, the latest advancement in their EchoTM series of GNSS record and playback systems. Building upon the robust foundation of the EchoTM R&P, the EchoTM 4RP introduces significant enhancements tailored to meet the evolving demands of GNSS testing and development.
Key Enhancements of EchoTM 4RP:
Broadband Frequency Coverage: The new system extends its frequency range to encompass the L, S, and C bands, surpassing the EchoTM R&P’s coverage of 1100 MHz to 2550 MHz. This broader spectrum capability, one of the best available on the market, ensures compatibility with current and emerging GNSS and non-GNSS signals, providing a future-proof solution for diverse testing requirements.
Expanded RF Channel Capacity: The EchoTM 4RP supports up to four RF channels for both recording and playback, an increase from the three channels available in the previous EchoTM R&P model. This enhancement facilitates more comprehensive testing scenarios and includes advanced multi-antenna configurations and Controlled Radiation Pattern Antenna (CRPA) applications thanks to the phase synchronization.
- High-Fidelity Sampling: EchoTM 4RP offers up to 16-bit I&Q sampling at 93.75 MHz per channel across all four channels simultaneously, delivering superior signal fidelity. Alternatively, it can provide 8-bit I&Q sampling at 187.5 MHz per channel, offering flexibility to match specific testing needs.
- Compact and Portable Design: With now one device for both GNSS record and replay weighing under 10 kg, the EchoTM 4RP is designed for portability without compromising performance. This compact form factor facilitates deployment in various environments, from laboratory settings to field testing scenarios.
