The Symposium Gyro Technology 2009 conference on inertial components and integrated systems will be held at the Karlsruhe Palace in Karlsruhe, Germany on September 22 and 23, 2009.
It is organized by the Institute of Systems Optimization of the University of Karlsruhe and the German Institute of Navigation (DGON).

Modern navigation and positioning increasingly uses information from non-inertial sensors and systems. Papers covering hybrid systems, which fuse information
from inertial sensors with that from satellite positioning and/or additional visual, infrared, radar or other sensors, will be featured.
The sessions are:
MEMS Gyro Technology
Quartz-based vibrating gyroscopes
Test and characterisation of inertial sensors
MEMS inertial sensors in unmanned vehicles
Pedestrian and indoor navigation
FOG-based stabilisation and guidance
Aided inertial systems
Urban car navigation and crash testing
Performance evaluation and market testing
