Sara Gutiérrez-Lanza is an electronics engineer and industrial technical engineer.
She is the coordinator of the Division of Navigation Engineering and Applications in the Transportation area of GMV, being responsible for planning, configuration management and cost control, pre-sales activities, and business development.

She is the coordinator of the Division of Navigation Engineering and Applications in the Transportation area of GMV, being responsible for planning, configuration management and cost control, pre-sales activities, and business development.
She has worked for GMV since 2000 dealing with satellite-based navigation applications and has coordinated R&D projects for customers such as the European Commission, European Space Agency, European GNSS Supervisory Authority (now European GNSS Agency), and Spanish institutions. Many of these projects related to mobility, intelligent transport systems, and the use of GNSS in the road sector and road pricing.
Currently, Gutiérrez-Lanza is coordinating the GINA project (analyzing the use of GNSS in the Dutch ABvM system) and provides support to other projects dealing with the use of EGNOS/Galileo for various applications as well as advanced mobility networks.
