ITS World Congress 2018

The World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) facilitates and influences global cross-talk of technologies and services towards making the deployment of ITS a smart and sustainable reality.

Held each year in a different global location, the ITS World Congress is an international meeting regularly attracting 10,000-plus attendees, rotating through Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacifc. The ITS World Congress is for the first time coming to Denmark in 2018. ERTICO – ITS Europe and the City of Copenhagen will be hosting the 25th ITS World Congress in Copenhagen. Quality of Life is the theme for the Congress, emphasizing the Copenhagen belief that ITS should enhance the people’s daily life through seamless, smart and sustainable mobility solutions.
The deadline for the Call for Contributions is December 15.

Scientific Papers should concentrate on research and scholarship and they will be independently refereed to academic journal standards. Commercial Papers should describe near-market work rather than pre-market work. Authors working for or in close collaboration with commercial companies are welcome to submit papers.

Papers which are submitted as Scientific, but which are not judged to be of this top rating standard or relevance, may still be accepted as Technical Papers.

You can download the brochure here, and submit your papers or session proposals within the 6  topics of the Congress here. The Congress is an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and good practice within the ITS Community. The International Programme Committee invites ITS experts to submit contributions that encourage creative thinking, interaction and dialogue.
