Previously he served as Research Faculty at the University of Florida and as a Senior Research Engineer at the Ohio University Avionics Engineering Center.
He holds B.S. and M.S. in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University.

Soloviev’s research interests focus on all aspects of GNSS signal processing and estimation, as well as multi-sensor fusion for navigation applications.
