The biennial event is an opportunity for scientists and professionals in navigation, transport, ocean engineering and maritime technology to share knowledge and research on all aspects of maritime navigation and safety of sea transportation. The symposium is held in English.
In addition to satellite navigation and SBAS in maritime applications, some of the many topics are automation, robotics underwater technology and offshore construction; marine archaeology, navigational simulation; atomic clocks and timing applications; INS; geomatics and GIS applications and hydrography, geodesy and marine cartography.
The conference is sponsored by the Faculty of Navigation of the Gdynia Maritime University and The Nautical Institute.
