Nikolay Testoyedov is the Head of the Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems Company (ISS-Reshetnev JSC).
He graduated from Leningrad Mechanical Institute as a mechanical engineer.
Since 1974 has served in a wide variety of positions from an engineer to serving as the head in the Scientific and Production Association of Applied Mechanics (abbreviated NPO PM), later renamed the ISS-Reshetnev Company.

Testoyedov holds a doctor of engineering degree and is a professor in the Satellites Department at Siberian State Aerospace University, a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and a Russian Federation Government Prize Winner for Science and Technology (2002 and 2013).
