Günter Hein

Prof.-Dr. Günter Hein served as the head of the EGNOS and GNSS Evolution Program Department of the European Space Agency and continues to advise on scientific aspects of the Navigation Directorate as well as being a member the ESA Overall High Level Science Advisory Board. Previously, he was a full professor and director of the Institute of Geodesy and Navigation at the Universität der Bundeswehr München. He is one of the inventors of the CBOC signal.

He is a contributing editor to Inside GNSS and coordinates the column, “Working Papers.”

Glen Gibbons

 Glen Gibbons is the founding editor of Inside GNSS. He is an internationally-known expert and commentator on the development, policies and programs of the global navigation satellite systems.

His company, Gibbons Media & Research LLC, started Inside GNSS magazine in 2006.

He was the founding editor of GPS World in 1989, the most significant publication covering what was then a virtually unknown technology. For sixteen years, he led the magazine and developed the journalistic model for covering space-based positioning, navigation, timing, and the leading technologies with which GNSS is integrated.
