Andriy Konovaltsev is a research associate at the Institute of Communications and Navigation of the German Aerospace Center (DLR).

He received his engineer diploma and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Kharkov State Technical University of Radio Electronics, Ukraine.

His research interests are in array processing for satellite navigation systems, signal processing algorithms for navigation receivers including synchronization, multipath ,and radio interference mitigation.

Meiko Steen

Meiko Steen holds a Dipl.-Ing. in aerospace engineering and since 2005 has been employed as a research engineer at the Technical University of Braunschweig, Institute of Flight Guidance where he works in the navigation department in the field of inertial, satellite, and integrated navigation.

He is currently especially involved in the institute’s GBAS activities.

Beatrice Motella

Beatrice Motella received the Ph. D. in electronics and communications engineering from Politecnico di Torino.

Currently, she is a researcher at the Istituto Superiore Mario Boella.

Although her studies cover various aspects of GNSS technologies, her main research topic is focused on radio frequency interference monitoring.

Binghao Li

Binghao Li is a research associate in the School of Surveying and Spatial Information Systems, The University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.

Li obtained the B.Sc. in electrical & mechanical engineering from Northern Jiaotong University, P.R. China and the M.Sc. in civil engineering from Tsinghua University, P.R. China.

He received his Ph.D. from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. His research areas include pedestrian navigation, new positioning technologies, and network-RTK.

Kaveh Pahlavan

Kaveh Pahlavan is a professor of electrical and computer engineering, a professor of computer science, and director of the Center for Wireless Information Network Studies, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Massachusetts.

He is also a visiting Professor of Telecommunication Laboratory and Center for Wireless Communications, University of Oulu, Finland, and the chief technical advisor of Skyhook Wireless, Boston, Massachusetts.

Farshid Alizadeh-Shabdiz

Farshid Alizadeh-Shabdiz is the chief scientist at Skyhook Wireless Inc. responsible for the research and development of Skyhook’s positioning technology.

He has more than 17 years of industrial experience in the design and implementation of satellite and wireless networks.

Before joining Skyhook Wireless, he was the head of the communications section of Advanced Solutions Group (part of Cross Country Automotive Services). Earlier, he worked at Hughes Network Systems.
