Arab Institute of Navigation Conference and Exhibition: MELAHA 2008

MELAHA 2008, The Arab Institute of Navigation (AIN) biennial conference will be held for the first time in Hurghada, Egypt, a tourist resort on the Red Sea and an international center for water sports.

The conference takes place in the Steigenberge Al Dau Beach Hotel.

The theme of the international conference and exhibition is "Global Navigation Satellite Systems: The Next Frontier." It will be held in English.

Topics include GPS and GLONASS modernization, Galileo/GPS interoperability, ground based augmentation systems, urban and indoor navigation, GNSS receivers and antennae, GNSS errors and biases and ground, aviation and rail applications.

The conference will bring together researchers, manufacturers, service providers and consultants in the field of GNSS and related fields to share research results, new developments and practices. The conference will also identify common issues related to safety of navigation, security and means of transport.
