Heike Bock received her diploma in geodesy from the University of Karlsruhe (TH), Germany, and her Ph.D. from the Astronomical Institute of the University of Bern (AIUB), Switzerland.
She mainly works in the field of precise orbit determination for low Earth orbiting (LEO) satellites using GPS.

Since 2004 Dr. Bock has been working as a research associate at AIUB. In addition, she contributes to the CODE Analysis Center of the International GNSS Service (IGS) and to the development and maintenance of the Bernese GPS software.
