<p>Goff lives and works in the Chicago area, where he spent 17 years as a senior editor and executive editor for Advanstar Communications business-to-business magazines. Earlier, he was a sports editor for Sun Publications.</p>
<p>He earned a bachelor&#8217;s degree in journalism from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.</p>

Richard Fischer is the publisher of <em>Inside GNSS</em>. He joined the magazine in 2009 as director of sales and business development.

Fischer’s experience with GNSS media and communications began in 2000 as sales manager for <em>GPS World</em> and <em>Galileo’s World</em>. In 2002, he was promoted to publisher and later, group publisher of Advanstar’s entire geospatial business.

Fischer has won various publishing honors. He was a  finalist for Min Magazine’s Sales Executive of the Year in 2006 and also for American Business Media’s Jesse H. Neal Award — the premiere award in business-to-business publishing — for best start-up publication in 2007.

Fischer is an alumnus of Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA, where he studied economics. He earned a certificate in the Advanced Executive Program at the Medill Journalism School/Kellogg Business School, Northwestern University, in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

She brings experience as a research, editorial, and administrative assistant for senior executives to her web editing tasks. She also worked as a sales contract auditor for CNET Networks and NBC Internet in San Francisco.

Sierra first became interested in GPS in high school in the 1990s, when she wrote her senior thesis on the subject. She earned a B.A. in theater from Grinnell College. She lives and works in Portland, Oregon, USA.</p>

<strong>Gwen Thomsen Rhodes</strong>, art director for <em>Inside GNSS</em>, has worked in trade magazine publishing for more than sixteen years. <!--break-->She was art director at a large publishing firm, Advanstar Communications, from 1991 to 2003. Before that, she was a designer, account supervisor, and print manager for a small book publisher, Vesta Publications. She has won numerous awards for her work, including two Advanstar awards for best cover for <em>Pharmaceutical Technology</em> in 1996 and 1997 and best graphic presentation for <em>ITS World </em>in 1997. Gwen lives and works in Eugene, Oregon, USA.</p>

<strong> Glen Gibbons</strong> is the founding editor of <em>Inside GNSS</em>. He is an internationally-known expert and commentator on the development, policies and programs of the global navigation satellite systems.

His company, Gibbons Media &amp; Research LLC, started <em>Inside GNSS</em> magazine in 2006.</p>
<p>He was the founding editor of <em>GPS World</em> in 1989, the most significant publication covering what was then a virtually unknown technology. For sixteen years, he led the magazine and developed the journalistic model for covering space-based positioning, navigation, timing, and the leading technologies with which GNSS is integrated.<br />

<p>He was the founding editor of <em>GPS World</em> in 1989, the most significant publication covering what was then a virtually unknown technology. For sixteen years, he led the magazine and developed the journalistic model for covering space-based positioning, navigation, timing, and the leading technologies with which GNSS is integrated.<!--break--></p>
<p>His creation of <em>Galileo’s World</em> in 1999 anticipated the development of Europe’s emerging global navigation satellite system. He has covered GLONASS since publishing what was probably the first trade article on the Russian satellite system in 1990.</p>
<p>For ten years (1991-2000), Gibbons also wrote and edited the biweekly <em>GPS World Newsletter</em>. During 1998-99, he launched and edited <em>GeoConvergencia</em>, a Spanish- and Portuguese-language supplement to <em>GPS World</em>. He was editor of the reference publication, <em>GPS World’s Big Book of GPS 2000</em>. Until 2005, he served as group editorial director and associate publisher of three geospatial magazines, which also included <em>Geospatial Solutions</em> and <em>GeoIntelligence</em>.</p>
<p>Gibbons received the U.S. Institute of Navigation’s 2003 Norman P. Hayes Award for outstanding encouragement, inspiration, and support contribution to the advancement of navigation. In 2015, the British Royal Institute of Navigation awarded him the Harold Spencer-Jones Gold Medal for contributions to navigation.</p>
<p>Gibbons holds a B.A. in political science from Willamette University (Oregon) and studied Chinese language and culture at the East-West Center in Hawaii. He earned an M.A. in journalism from the University of Oregon. </p>
