This year’s European Navigation Conference (ENC), hosted by the Netherlands Institute of Navigation, will be held from May 31 to June 2 at the European Space Agency’s (ESA) ESTEC site in Noordwijk, The Netherlands, where the Galileo satellite system is designed and European navigation satellites undergo final testing.

The Institute of Navigation (ION) announced that its annual ION GNSS+ 2020 conference, scheduled to take place September 21-25, will now be held entirely virtual. InterGeo, the large international trade show held each fall in Germany, has made a similar announcement for its conference, scheduled for October 13–15.

The Institute of Navigation’s (ION) Satellite Division presented Dr. Santiago Perea Diaz with its Bradford W. Parkinson Award at the recent ION GNSS+ Conference in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Perea Diaz was recognized for graduate student excellence in Global Navigation Satellite Systems in his thesis, “Design of an Integrity Support Message for Offline Advanced RAIM”.
