James T. Curran received a B.E. in electrical & electronic Engineering and a Ph.D. in telecommunications from the Department of Electrical Engineering, University College Cork, Ireland.
He worked as a senior research engineer with the PLAN Group in the University of Calgary, Canada, and as a grant-holder at the Joint Research Center (JRC) of the European Commission (EC), Italy.
Curran has recently joined SERCO, working as a radionavigation engineer at the European Space Agency, at ESTEC in the Netherlands.
His main research interests are signal processing, information theory, cryptography, and software defined radio for GNSS.
