The International Symposium on GPS/GNSS 2012 will take place on October 31, November 1 and November 2 in Xi'an, China.

The conference venue is Tianyu Gloria Grand Hotel Xian.

The event is organized by organized by College of Geology Engineering
and Geomatics, Chang’an University, the International Association of
Chinese Professionals in Global Positioning Systems (CPGPS) and the
National Time Service Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Xi'an - the ancient name is Chang'an - is the capital of Shaanxi province and one of the cradles of Chinese civilization. It was the eastern end of the historic Silk Road and is the home of the famous Museum of Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. The Chinese National Time Service Center is about 20 miles from the city.

The conference topics include discussion of all of the GNSSes and augmentation systems; positioning trends and new technologies; receiver, antennae algorithms and products; space weather and GNSS; technologies for precise clock error and time synchronization;precise point positioning, RTK and e-GNSS; crustal deformation measurement and earthquake prediction.

The deadline for full paper submission is September 15.
